How Pinnacle will impact Avenue, Mira and Mari

If you’re thinking of buying on the west side of Avenue Bellevue, Mira Flats, or the west side of Mari, you should know that a large development made up of 15 towers (!) is planned on the site of the QFC, the QFC headquarters, and the Le Chateau apartments. This very large development is known as Pinnacle South and Pinnacle North.

Pinnacle North

Pinnacle North will be a seven-tower development with 1,154 residential units in eight- to 25-story towers.

Pinnacle North will impact Mari much more than it will the Avenue Residences. This is a look at how Pinnacle North will look from Mari.

Note that there is no park to the east of Pinnacle North. Where that grass is, is where the low-rise buildings to the west of Mira Flats and Mari are.

See the plans.

Pinnacle South

Pinnacle South is planned to be eight 14- to 26-story towers with 2,114 residential units, around 22,250 square feet of retail and three levels of underground parking with about 2,225 stalls. Pinnacle South will impact both Mari and the condos on the west side of the Avenue Residences and the Avenue Estates. Here’s the view from the corner of NE 8th St and NE 108th Ave NE. Note that there is no park where they’re showing on. That is where Starbucks and Avenue is.

Timing

Pinnacle North is going to start first. The last time anything had been written about timing was in 2021 when they were projecting to break ground in 2023. It is now 2024 and they haven’t broken ground. As for Pinnacle south, their timing, according to their October 31st, 2024 with the city of Bellevue, is that they could begin construction around 2027 with occupancy by approximately 2030. But given Pinnacle North hasn’t started, perhaps that is optimistic.
